Playlists different on laptop to phone!

Hello,

I have Spotify Premium, and made a playlist on my laptop with around 40 songs in it. However, that same playlist comes up on both my iPad and iPhone has having only 2 songs on it. I have logged in and out and closed both apps and it is still the same, can anyone help me?

Are those playlists made up of local files on your laptop? 

If so, you need to sync them to your iOS devices by following the instructions here.

No, they aren't local files, they are just from spotify. I just gave up and deleted that whole playlist and remade it, and now that one has synced! Very strange.
