Playlists no longer syncing on iPhone

For the past couple days (at least), no changes I make to playlists in the desktop app are appearing in the iPhone app (iPhone 4, IOS5). I have a collaborative playlist that had 30 tracks as of a couple weeks ago, and I've added a few more; but the app still shows 30 songs. I also created a new playlist, and it doesn't show up at all.

I've tried:

 - Logging in & out in the iPhone app

 - Restarting the phone

 - Reinstalling the iPhone app

Even after reinstall, the old version of that playlist (with 30 songs) showed up again. I think the problem must not be on my side.

So, my playlists did sync a single time. But then the same thing happened again; changes made to the desktop app don't show up on the iPhone. I logged out of both the iPhone app and desktop app, and then back in, and that seemed to fix it. Now when I add tracks, they show up right away everywhere.
