Plug Ipod touch into Harley Davidson Boom! Audio with USB

I am having an issue playing my iPod touch USB into my Harley Davidson Motorcycle. It keeps poping up as "No playable music detected" I have already contacted Apple and they said they could not do anything about it because all of the music is on Spotify. I have premium to listen offline. Everything is downloaded to listen offline. My daughter has the same make and model of iPod just in a different color. It works perfectly fine. Can any one help me with this issue?
