Podcast Restarts in BMW

My Question or Issue

Every time I am listening to a podcast and I call someone or someone calls me after the call is over the podcast restarts from the beginning. This is very frustrating because I have to memorize where I left off and I often do not catch the point. I have a 2019 BMW 530 and this still happens whether I am using the BMW Spotify app, hardwire, or bluetooth audio.

First, could you try performing a clean reinstall and then resetting your device?

If that doesn't work, could you provide us with the following info:

• device + OS version
• exact Spotify version
• car manufacturer + model?

Once we have that, we can look into this further.
