My Question or Issue

Hey there, since yesterday I am not able to play or download podcasts even though I have tried the following:

  • Logging out and in again 
  • Closing the app several times 
  • turning off and on the devices 
  • Using the web version 
  • Using mobile data 
  • Turning off and on the wifi connection
  • installed the latest Spotify update

The podcasts stop every couple of seconds and I am not able to download them. When I click on download button the icon changes as usual but the green cycle doesn't appear. Listening to music, downloading it and streaming it is no problem. 

I am very confused since I've tried so much... I have the same problem with my Mac that I have with my iPhone.

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community. We're happy to help.

 

Can you perform a clean reinstall of the app? This step will clean the cache and corrupted files from previous installations that can cause issues.

 

It would also be great if you can try with another internet connection to see if the issue persist.

 

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.
