Podcast skips to next one randomly on iPhone

I often listen to podcasts, and at least on a weekly basis i have a podcast that will just skip ahead. Today it occurred and I had my AirPod in one ear and my phone was just laying on the counter. Nothing should have prompted the podcast to jump. I was about halfway through a Joe Rogan podcast and it skipped to the next one.

Would you mind letting us know if you've already tried any troubleshooting steps? This will help us give you better suggestions. If you haven't tried anything yet, we'd recommend starting by performing a clean reinstall of Spotify by following these steps. You could also check if it happens from a different device or the Web Player.

Lastly, could you send over your device's make, model, OS version, and the Spotify version you're currently running?
