My Question or Issue

I enjoy listening to podcasts in the mornings and when I open my iPad app, I see the blue dot next to the show title, indicating a new episode. However when I navigate to the show page, it doesn’t show the latest episode. Even if I search or ask to see all episodes, I won’t see the latest in the list. This happens with Up First, The Read, and Keep It, off the top of my head. If I use my iPhone though, I see the new podcasts episodes, no problem. It’s really annoying to have access to different episodes on different devices but it feels like a glitch.

Thank you for posting on the Community.


This discrepancy between your devices is odd. Could you start by running a clean reinstall of the app? This is often an overlooked step, but it’s more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble. 


If this doesn't work, please let us know what happens after you Sort by date the episodes inside a podcast. Are you able to see the newest one?
