Premium account not working on iPod

I have connected my Ipod to my computer via Spotify to download my playlist, however it does not download the tracks as per my account. Its says it only syncs 'local' files, however all the music on my spotify has been downloaded throught the spotify account so why is it not local and why is it no loading onto my Ipod when i connect it to my computer?

i am very frustrated as this has been a problem for a while now and this is not the first time i have had to contact spotify, and it is no easy to do so when there is a problem

I want a response and resolution to my problems immediately otherwise my subscription will be cancelled.

Spotify content can only be downloaded to an ipod touch. If you have one of these, it should work fine if you follow the iphone instructions in this FAQ.
