Premium - iPod Touch - Starred Playlist

I got a little confused with the FAQs in the help section regarding iPod touch.

The FAQs state that you can sync spotify with the iPod touch but you can only sync your local files for certain (most) iPods. Another one states that you can only sync local files to any iPod.

Can someone clarify this question. If I get premium for offline use on my iPod Touch, will I be able to sync and access my starred music on said iPod Touch for offline use?

The Touch is the only ipod device capable of running the spotify app and listening to spotify content, including your starred tracks.The official post on this is here.
