With Spotify, when you add songs to a queue, it sometimes clears the whole queue. If you play the song you wanted to add, it won’t play anything either. 

The workaround atm for this is to mark the song as a favourite and add it to the queue or play it. You could select the song to play (it won’t play), but the moment you select it as a favourite, it will start playing. 

It’s quite frustrating when the whole queue is cleared and you have to mark a random song as a favourite.

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps.

If you're still having trouble, can you let me know the current app version? Also, let me know if you're on iOS 14.5.
