To clarify, you can't see the most recent song that you've added to the queue, as well as the song in the Now Playing view? We can see that the Now Playing view is showing blank, but we just wanted to fully understand the other point you've raised.
First thing we'd like you try is a clean reinstallation on the device. We'd also suggest checking the device for an iOS update by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
