Repeat playlist on iPhone

I can not find out how to repeat a playlist on an iPhone? WHen the playlist is done, I have to log in again (!) and start it again myself

This is actually relatively easy once you know where it is.  First, while playing a song in your playlist, hit the "i" button in the upper left:

After you've done that, tap the shuffle icon in the lower right and it should turn green:

Now the playlist should repeat until you stop it, or until your battery dies.

Yes, but as you mention: the next time you play the playlist, the repeat button will not be on....?

I have an older iphone 4s.  There is no "i" in the upper left corner.  How do I repeat a playlist until I turn it off?

When you are playing a song in the playlist you can hit the replay song button once which is located on the right of the skip song this should loop back after the playlist has finished to start again.
