Resetting my account.

Hello.

I have associated my Facebook account to a friend's Spotify profile for error while I was borrowing his iPhone.

Now I want to create a Spotify account for myself, and I want to do that with my Facebook account.

Can you unlink my Facebook account (Riccardo Bestetti) from his Spotify account (riccagiaco@live.com or Giacomo Ricca, I'm not sure how Spotify account naming works) so that I can create an account for myself?

Easiest way to do this is to actually rope in your friend.

Get them to go to:
Edit/Spotify > Preferences > Social Network > Disconnect from Facebook
in the desktop Spotify app.

Once that is done, logging in using your Facebook details will give you your own Spotify account.

Thanks for the post.

It's not possible to factory reset your Spotify account in the general sense. It's not possible to reset your recommendation algorithms and songs etc. 

A workaround to this would be to create a new account and transfer and follow any playlist from your old account which you like. This is the best way to start fresh. Learn more - here.
