Reuploading in extreme won't work

I have downloaded all my wanted offline playlists in regular quality but since I have premium I tried to re-download in extreme but it won't work. I tried restarting the app, updating, and undownloading and redownloading. Any suggestions?

Hi! Welcome to the Spotify Community!

When you select this option the app prompts you with the question to re-download all songs or just apply the setting for new songs. You should be able to fix this by switching back to 'normal' quality and thereafter back to 'extreme'.
