Running - Can't Detect Tempo

Running - Can't Detect Tempo

I've tried everyday for a week, and so far Running has been unable to detect my tempo. I've tried to make extra sure that I was running at a constant speed. I've tried rebooting the phone. I've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling Spotify. I even did a full reset of my phone (although I did restore my data from iCloud).

I'm using iPhone 6 128GB running iOS 8.3 w/90GB free space.

Any suggestions?

Hi, same "cannot detect tempo" issue persisting for me - also after deleting and installing app again (iPhone 6, 62 Gb, 8.4.1). Any solutions / work on this planned for the foreseeable future? Would love to be able to use this feature properly!

As a new Spotify customer, I have to say I'm really disappointed to see this hasn't been fixed in the more than a year and a half since it was reported.
- Version of Spotify: 6.8.0.3786
- Version of OS: iOS 10.2 (14C92)
- Make/Model of the device: iPhone 5s (ME438FD/A)

Still not working. Jeeps repeating "detecting Tempo" until failure.
Why is this not fixed? Spotify is expensive enough so at least it should work. Spotify for Android is on the latest update.
