Searching on iPod Ap seems limited vs. the laptop ap. Limited results on iPod - why?

Hello. I am completely perplexed. I just searched for something on my laptop Spotify Ap. 100s of options were exposed including the one album I was looking for. Then I did it on the IPad Ap as I wanted to play it through our airport express wirelessly to our speakers. But alas, when I searched "caberet film" nothing appeared. It was the exact same search.

What is the difference? Does the IPad Ap have a limited library? It is disappointing as I wanted to download the list for offline listening.

Please help.

You should get access to the same catalogue across all devices. The only difference is that the app also searches for any of your local files stored on your computer.

So if you have any music on your computer byt not on the iPad then it won't show up on both. Could this be the case here?

I'm embarrassed to say that in fact I had a spelling error on the iPad. Oh dear. Thanks for your help. It's good to know they are exactly the same. That helped me to look a little closer. Sadly, there is no spell check.
