My Question or Issue

 Battery usage at 47%.  Deleted and readded. Rebooted.  Nothing helps.  If I turn on Spotify, the battery immediately drops.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? Sorry if this may sound a bit repetitive but if that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app by following these steps.

If possible I would also recommend updating to iOS 12.1.4 🙂

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I did all of the above including updating the IOS. The battery drain still shows at 38%. I’ve had Spotify a long time, and it has never been this bad. I deleted and re-added Spotify yesterday. I have version 8.4.92.1055. I just turned off almost everything in account settings and still show 35%. I rebooted again and got it down to 14%. I will test it again after work.
