Shuffle Defaulting To Off Whilst Connected To Cars Bluetooth

My Question or Issue

Whilst driving as a delivery driver, I often turn off the car (leaving my phone in for a matter of minutes, if that), jump back in and carry on my journey.

If playing a playlist on shuffle once the car has reconnected and Spotify starts playing again automatically (continuing where it left off) shuffle has defaulted to off... Whilst this is a minor inconvenience, it is quite annoying and  it seems like a simple issue to solve.

I drive a 2011 Ford and have the same issue. It’s terribly annoying. I really wish Spotify/Apple would fix this.

I experienced this issue in the past but it went away after an update. However I’ve been experiencing the same problem again. Totally ruins the shuffle.
