Since 1.0.0.3251 Spotify is using a lot of bandwidth on iOS

This month I am burning through my allotted bandwidth a lot faster than usual, and after some investigation I found out that it is caused by Spotify. In 1.5 hours listening to locally stored music it burned through 20 mb. When things continue this way, I will have consumed my monthly bandwidth in two weeks.

Settings:

• Streaming sound quality: normal
• Synchronisation sound quality: normal
• Sync via 2g/3g: off

Is this a known problem?

Update: I had to switch spotify to offline mode. 40-60mb per day doesn't seem like much, but here in the Netherlands most people have less than 1000 mbs to spend a month. I have 1.5gb, but that is presently not enough for my spotify use. Without streaming music, it is ridiculous.

I asked a friend to check on his use too, and he used 60mb without even playing music! Needless to say he deleted the app.

And what's up with the 9gb the app uses on my phone? I have around 2500 songs locally, that should really not be taking that much space!
