Some songs not playing or stop after 10 seconds

I have an issue where some songs just wont play and others stop after 10 seconds.

I have an iPhone 6 iOS 9.2 with Spotify version 4.6.0.1466

I have tried to delete and redownload from the app store but the problem persists.

It is very frustrating.

Hi, welcome to the community 🙂

Are these songs local files? Do you use the desktop app?

If so, this might work:

Go to PREFRENCES> Scroll Down to LOCAL FILES and UN-check All the Boxes   

Don't Allow a link between your iTunes or whatever other source of music.

Sometimes if you donwload some songs and threw them on iTunes, Spotify would add them to the local files.
