Songs skipping like a CD only when using earbuds

Lately, whenever I listen to Spotify music on my iPhone with earbuds in, the songs start skipping like a scratched CD. This goes for any song on any playlist. It'll happen regularly, like several times per song. I tried deleting and re-installing the app, closing and opening the app again, and nothing helps. What can I do to resolve this?

I'm no expert but it could be that it's not the app but it's your earphones. Does it skip when you're just playing music out loud? If so try using other earphones. If that still doens't work I say maybe trying turning your phone off and on again. How this helps and something works. 🙂
