Songs stop after ten seconds

I've been having this problem for awhile now and I'm apparently not the only one judging by some threads I've seen while searching for a solution. Many of the songs I try to play, both on cellular and on Wifi, stop after 10 to 13 seconds and sometimes they don't start at all. I've reinstalled the app several times and I don't download songs. My phone is an iPhone SE with iOS 10.2.1. My carrier is T-Mobile. Any help would be awesome, it's very frustrating to pay for a service that works so inconsistently.
