Spotify app does not launch on iPhone 5s (iOS 8.0.2)

My spotify does not launch anymore since iOS 8.0.2. got installed on my  iPhone 5s.

Deleting the app, downloading it again, turning my phone on and off again did not solve the problem.

You're not the only one with this problem (we've seen lots of users with the same problem). Spotify is already investigating this issue.

Hey there,

 

Some people have had success with the new IOS update.

 

The solutions were based for the US and for other countries.

 

You have to change your country settings on the phone. Before doing it, close the Spotify app and then head out to Settings and change the location to UK, US. Open the app, then close it, and then revert back it to your country.

 

If that still doesn't work, try contacting Spotify on the contact form and let them know you've done everything.
