When I'm using spotify it looks as if its frozen and shows previous song covers when I'm not listening to the song it shows. I. Using an iPad 2 on iOS 6.1.2

Hi! Welcome to the community! That is strange and might be just some lag. Have you tried all the steps outlined in this topic? Let me know if this works for you.

Yes I have, I've even mentioned it to @SpotifyCares

It must be a lag of some kind because when I exit the app and reopen it fixes itself

I'd also like to add, that this only happens when I exit the app to use something else like Facebook, Twitter Etc.

Spotify app version 0.7.1 and i'm still fully able to reproduce it.
