2.) Restart device. Crash.

3.) Uninstall/reinstall Spotify. Crash.

4.). Tried to log both via Facebook and with user name/pw. Crash. Crash.

Hey, @jhankin !

Some users have had success using the following steps (it's a little different then uninstalling and reinstalling:

1. Uninstall Spotify

2. Hold down home and power button until Apple logo appears

3. Reinstall Spotify

Do you got an Jailbreaked Iphone?

Peace

Uninstalling, pressing and holding the power and home buttons until hard reset, restart and reinstalling Spotify worked for me also. Thanks all. 🙂

Hi there, welcome to the Spotify Community! Let's try to troubleshoot this issue with you.

First of all, please try a clean reinstallation. This can resolve many common issues.

If you're still having trouble after a reinstall, please let us know the following details:

1. Exact Device (e.g. iPhone 5S)

2. Exact operating system (e.g. iOS 8.3)

3. Spotify app version installed (2.2.0)

4. What are you doing when the app skips/ stops/ crashes? Is it when it opens? When scrolling through tracks? When searching?

5. About how many playlists do you have?

6. Are you sure that you've got the latest Spotify version ?

If you could get back to us with those details it would be great. Thanks!

1. Exact Device (e.g. iPhone 5S) - iPhone 5

2. Exact operating system (e.g. iOS 8.3) - iOS 7.1.2

4. What are you doing when the app skips/ stops/ crashes? Is it when it opens? When scrolling through tracks? When searching? When I open the app, it crashes and closes

5. About how many playlists do you have? 30(?)

6. Are you sure that you've got the latest Spotify version ? yes

ios 7.1.1

last version of (crappy) Spotify app

Hello.

The app always crashes on start since the last update.

The app was working very poorly for months, bugs regularly and needs three hours to start each time but I accepted it.

Since the last update, it's absolute hell. I tried everything. Uninstall, hard reset, reinstall, connection with a facebook account but the app crashes all the time.

I still have a solution ==> DEEZER or  APPLE MUSIC (?)

The development of this application is really a disaster.

A furious customer.

1. Exact Device - iPhone 4S

2. Exact operating system - iOS 7.1.2

3. Spotify app version installed - 3.7.0

4. What are you doing when the app skips/ stops/ crashes? When I'm connected to wifi it starts up fine but when I'm on cell (Sprint) I go to open it and it immediately crashes and will not stay open.  Every single time.

5. About how many playlists do you have? 12

6. Are you sure that you've got the latest Spotify version ? Yes
