Spotify crashes when online (iPhone 6)

Whenever I'm online, the app crashes within a minute.  It happens no matter what else I'm doing.  If I'm doing nothing except using Spotify, it happens.

When I'm offline, it works fine.

I'm using an iPhone 6.

iOS Version 10.2.1

Spotify app Version 8.1.0.623

I have about 100 playlists.

I've tried and had no luck with:

• updating the app
• deleting the app and reinstalling
• logging out and back in

Welcome to the forums. Let's see if I can get you some help!

Thank you for letting us know you are using iPhone. Could I possibly have:-

1. Exact operating system (e.g. iOS 8.3)

2. Spotify app version installed (2.2.0)

Are you doing anything in particular on the phone when the app crashes? Lastly how how many playlists do you have?

Hello Again jimmypike27,

Please head over to:-

https://www.spotify.com/account/offline-devices/ and remove all your offline devices.

Once that's done, another quick reinstall should help out.

Let me know how this goes.

Nope... didn't fix it.  Currently trying to download my songs again with the app crashing every other minute.

Thank's for working with me so far.

Alright, in that case please can you restart your phone by pressing Home + Lock for 10 seconds. And let me know if that makes any difference. 

Could you also log into a friends account on your phone and let us know if it happens on that account also.

Lastly, can you confirm if this is only happening on the device in  question?

1: Are you using any cache-clearing apps or force-quitting apps?
2: Do you have any power saving modes switched on on your device?
