Spotify doesn't shuffle AT ALL!

If I play any playlist by clicking the green shuffle button, it plays the playlist totally normally, start to finish, with no variation.
If I just play a random song from the middle of the playlist and make it shuffle after that, the first song of the playlist is qued and it plays in order again.
Shuffle literally does nothing right now. I've force closed the app and re downloaded it to no avail. This is problematic and extremely annoying.

I'm having the same problem. Wven though i'm not sure it's probably just a bug they accidentaly released with an update, so they're most probably going to fix it very soon.

This has been on going this morning. It happened to me too. What worked for me is logging out and logging back in. But another fix seems to be deleting the app and reinstalling it. I hope that helps.

In the meantime here are some troubleshooting steps you can try: 

• Log out and log back in the app 
• Transfer the playback from the phone to the computer or vice versa, and see if this works 
• Try a clear re-install of the app, as this usually helps for many ongoing issues
