Spotify draining battery extremally fast

Recently i switched from my iPhone 8 to the Xs and after i started using spotify i realised it could drain more than 20% over around 30-40 min of listening 😢 which unfortunatelly makes the app unusable. I really need help since ive been using Spotify forever and im not willing to switch to Apple Music

Thanks for getting back to us with the screenshot.

If this battery usage differs from what it used to be an the phone overheats, it would seem like you're experiencing a case of this Ongoing Issue. We'd recommend to keep an eye on the thread, as we'll post any new updates in the Status Update.

We also see that you mention that you keep Background App Refresh disabled at all time - would you mind turning it on for Spotify and restarting your phone? We've received confirmation from some users that this helped resolve the issue.
