(Spotify free) songs from search won’t play

(Spotify free) songs from search won’t play

Whenever I search a song on spotify and click on it, it sends me to a blank page that says “something went wrong, have another go?” with a reload option below it. It doesn’t work no matter how many times I reload. My internet connection is 100% fine and Spotify is updated to the latest version, I’m also using spotify free.

Hi,

Same here! Spotify cannot load any songa since yesterday midday. So frustrating!!! I've tried using wifi, using data, reinstalling... 

Nothing works.

My Question or Issue

When I search for and click on a song, nothing appears. When the screen with the big green play button should come up, it's just a blank screen. I've checked my internet connection, restarted the app, updated the app, reinstalled the app and restarted my phone, but nothing has helped. Can anyone help please?

My Question or Issue

I can’t click the song from search. But ‘single’ can. Ever you are playing that song. You just can’t click into the song.

Have you tried reinstalling your Spotify app like shown here?

Hi folks,

 

There was a temporary issue with Search for Free users, which should now be fixed. Could you confirm that everything looks good on your end?

 

In case the issue persists, try restarting the app to see if that does the trick.

Thx I done the reinstall before and it doesn’t work. But looks like it fixed itself. I can click into songs now.
