Spotify free won't play

Hi - my spotify free account won't let me play songs. The titles and artists are grayed out as if I'm offline, but I'm not offline, and I've checked to make sure in the Spotify settings. 

I cancelled my premium service but I didn't think that meant I couldn't listen to music! 

Can someone help?!

Try to reinstall or reset phone if it doesn´t work 🙂 seems like a bug only for you

Weird, never used to be the case. Just needed to have an internet connection and couldn't store music on your cell.

Have you cheked the "high quality streaming" button is off on settings?
