Spotify keeps pausing randomly

I’ve recently come across an issue where Spotify just seems to pause for no reason at all and I have to manually press play in order to resume what I was listening to before. 
I’ve already checked previous entries for this problem but none of the fixes seem to have worked so far, the only fix I’ve found myself is that when I set Spotify into offline mode the pausing stops. This is obviously pretty awkward though and I would appreciate if there’s anybody who could help me with this.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

Could you try using the Sign Out Everywhere from your Spotify's account page?

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
