Spotify keeps randomly changing the song

My Question or Issue

Spotify will randomly change the song while I’m listening on my iPhone. It changes to a completely random song, not saved to my library or playlists. I thought maybe someone had gotten ahold of my account information, but I have changed my password 3 times and have logged out of all devices and I’m still having the issue.

Could you try logging out > restart device > log back in? If that doesn't help, please try a clean reinstall of the app.

You mentioned you have an iPhone 8 Plus. Could you let me know your iOS version? You can find this by going to Settings > General > About.

I’m running iOS 11.4.1.
I’m still having the issue having logged out and back in. And reinstalling app.

Thanks for trying those steps! 

It seems like you're not on the latest iOS version. The latest version is iOS 12.4. You can update your device by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

If you're still having issues after updating your iPhone 8 Plus, please let me know 🙂
