Spotify not starting on iPad

Spotify not starting on iPad

Was working this morning when I was listening to downloaded playlist (was having Internet connections problems this morning, but all back up again now).
Now when I use spotify app, page appears then either a) shuts off again, or b) gives message that I cannot access "what's new" as I'm offline!!! Then shuts off.

I am online, but should still be able to access downloaded playlists surely? I am a recent premium account joiner.
Have tried powering iPad off and on again - still same problem.
If I delete spotify app and reload it, will I lose all of the playlists I have downloaded? (Assuming this makes spotify open again!)

Following the steps in the troubleshooting guide is generally the best place to start, but as you said you will need to redownload any offline content you have downloaded. 

 

It might also be worth trying the region change fix suggested in this bugs topic first and see if that makes any difference.
