Spotify not working on ipad

I cant get Spotify to work on my iPad. I try to search for an artist, and it gives me an error message. The same thing happens when i try to go to the browse folder. However, the app DOES work on my iPod.

Can you elaborate on what spotify know about and have fixed? A lot of us seem to be having similar problems on iPad as described in this thread and this one. Thanks.

Restarting my iPad (holding down the power button til prompted, then sliding to power off, then pressing the power button to turn it on again) solved my issues. Maybe this is worth a shot?
