Spotify not working while running on iPhone x

Hi, I recently bought an iPhone X and now when I run every 5-10 mins Spotify pauses the music, when I unpause the music does not start. I have to restart the app to listen to music again. Please help!

I also recently upgraded to the X and started having Spotify pausing when I was at a fast walking speed (purse bumping it around etc...).
It turned out though to be my headphones problem. I use the Pioneer Rayz and the app that comes with them was conflicting with the controls. I deleted my app and haven't experienced the issue again so I am not sure if it is relevant to your issue. Headphone connection is my main thought, but maybe it could have something to do with the internal gyroscope of the phone as well.
I've dug around in the phone settings, but don't really find anything relevant to the motion sensor that might cause this.
Do you experience it on other music services or only Spotify? I never tested it with anything else as my issue was resolved and I rarely ever turn apple music on.
