Spotify on iPad is draining battery faster then it can charge

Spotify is draining my Ipad battery quicker then it can charge ?!?!... OK I'm also streaming it via BT to my speakers but this can't be the purpose I assume ...

Any idea's ? Spotify is the only app running at this time.

Are you using an iPad charger? I get the same sort of thing when my iPad is charging using my iPhone charger (which delivers half the power).

yes I'm using an orginal iPad charger and cable ... I know there 3rd cables and chargers can be sometimes a pain in the ..., but not for me (hehe playing with words here).

Mistery solved !! Old Apple USB adapters are 10watt while the never ones are 12watt.
Did a cross check with charging the iPad with both adapters and the newer charged twice as fast as the old one.
