Spotify on my IPod loses its place

How can I prevent Spotify on my IPod Touch from losing its place when I play tracks on Spotify on my desktop computer? It used to be that when I went back to my Ipod Touch, I could continue listening from where I left off the last time I was listening on my Ipod Touch, but that doesn't happen anymore. How can I get that functionality back?

Unfortunately you can't, you are seeing the seemless playback function of Spotify Connect and there isn't current a way to disable it.
