Spotify simply does not load into the home screen

My Question or Issue:

After accidentally leaving Spotify running overnight, whenever I open up Spotify on my phone it simply hangs there. I get the notification for Waze and all that, but it never makes it past the Spotify logo. Interestingly enough, I am able to change the song that plays if I go to the actual website. I have tried reinstalling the app, as well as numerous force restarts. What do I need to do to get back into using my Spotify?
