Spotify stopped running on ipod touch after initial track queued

I'm using spotify on ipod touch running ios 5.1.1.  Up until last several weeks, no problems.  Since then, can't seem to get anything to play.  Have uninstalled and reinstalled app.  When launch, will play initial song, but if fast forward or skip to next track, name of new track appears but won't play.  All functionality of app seems to work, but tracks won't stream after initial app loaded..
