Sorry you've had no luck! Maybe checking to see if others are using your account, may help. Oftentimes this is the case with many users, as the other users on their account are pausing their song which causes the other device to pause.
To check this, simply log into Spotify.com, hover over username, click on account, scroll down, and click on 'sign out everywhere'. See if this does the trick. If not, maybe you should contact Spotify Support here - https://support.spotify.com/us/contact-spotify-support/.

I have the same problem for last few days. it is really annoying. It is not the first time either.
