Spotify update on iPhone - battery draining rapidly

Hi,

I had an App Store update of Spotify on Monday since since then my iPhone 4S battery is draining at 15-20% per hour, to the point where I've had to stop using the app.  I haven't changed any settings and have been using Spotify for a number of months on my iPhone without any problems.  Is anyone else having this issue?

I really like Spotify, but am going to unsubscribe completely as I can not have the battery draining so rapidly, after a morning of listening to my dowwnloaded playlist my battery has lost a substantial percentage. Looking at how long this problem has been going on it seems that Spotify are not making this issue a priority.

Try this, it seems to work for me:

- Open Spotify

- Push Notifications: Disable all the push notifications

- Playback: Enable Offline Mode (it has nothing to do with Privacy Mode)

Battery drops only 5% after one hour of playing music (offline, no streaming)!
