Spotify will not play songs.

Spotify will not play songs.

Working off of an iPad, spotify will not play any playlists. It opens and shuffles to a song, but once that's done no music starts and the timeline stays at zero.

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall by following tutorial below:

https://support.spotify.com/uk/using_spotify/troubleshooting2/reinstallation-of-spotify/

Thank you for the suggestion, I have tried this multiple times before( through the App Store)- but following the link provided, it opens and now allows me to play the first song that comes up...and then stops playing after that. Do you have any other thoughts, or recommendations?
Thank you

Try changing to a different streaming quality, and turning off crossfade and gapless playback. This might get tracks to play again normally.

There is also a bigger thread which you can follow:

There might land some suggestions how to temporarily fix this issue, this is a known issue unfortunately. But try those steps above, might or might not help you.

I tried all of that and it's still just playing one song. Not sure what to do next. I appreciate your help!

I've exactly the same issue - playing my discovery playlist, each song gets 6 seconds in to the track and then pauses.

I'm a bit reticent to reinstall the app since I have over 500 songs saved to my iPhone and not in a play list. Will these automatically resync when I reinstall the app?
