Spotify won't let me NOT sync local files.

Each time I unselect the box (manually choosing playlists) it makes spotify freeze and then quit. What do I do?

Your question sounds totally weird. It's probably the phrasing, but let me try to understand...

Your local files keep syncing right?

Go to your Spotify desktop preferences, under the section of local files, untick everything inside there.

Go to your Sootify iOS app, logout and reinstall the application again from the App Store & resync all your music again. You won't have this problem anymore.
