Spotify won'y sync my starred songs to Ipod Touch 5th gen

I have spotify premium but when i try to sync my entire library, it only syncs playlists im subscribed to and the "Local" playlist. The starred playlist and any other new playlist i crete and try to sync just appears with no songs on the Ipod. When i star a song on the ipod it appears right on the starred playlist. Can comeone please help me....this is making me want to rip my hair out and cancel my premium membership............

Can we just check - is the Starred playlist (and the new ones you create) showing up as entirely empty on your iPod or are the tracks just greyed out?

entirely empty, but when i star a song, not on the computer, but on the Ipod, it comes up on the starred list.
