So my family and I go boating (wakeboarding and skiing) quite often and we listen to music on the boat. I recently got spotify and when I plug in my phone to the stereo to play music from spotify, no sound comes out of the speakers. However sound WILL come out of the speakers when we use the music app that comes on our iPhones. Is there any sort of adapter I can buy to fix this so I can use spotify while on the lake or will we need an entirely new stereo?

your normal plug should work with the Stereo, have you tried reinstalling Spotify?
No I havent tried that, thanks for the suggestion.. Would it matter if the stereo is older than the spotify app?
