Stuck on "waiting"

My iPhone spotify app is stuck on "waiting" and I cannot access my music it has been like this for days and I have tried restarting it but no results.

Have you tried reinstalling the app?

I have tried to delete it and reinstall by holding on to the bottom button in hopes of pressing the X but there is no X

That is weird, have you tried rebooting your phone? Maybe turn it off and on and try uninstalling it now?

I have tried restarting my phone multiple times and nothing has happened and it is the only app that this is happening to

Okay, @jdurfee5 how about connecting your iPhone to the PC and opening iTunes, go to your device tab within there and click on "apps" tab on iTunes, then look for Spotify on those apps and the 'x' should appear for you to uninstall it.
