Student discount using iTunes money

Hi, I would like to buy spotify premium with the student discount. I am elgible but when I try to get the student discount it requires a credit card rather than letting use my iTunes money liek it does in the app. Help me please because I'm sure others have had this problem and it would certainly make me want to buy premium if I could get the discount with iTunes money as a payment option.

Hey, sorry I don't think it's possible, I think the only paint methods are credit/debit, PayPal or spotify gift card.

No they allow you to make an in app purchase of premium and use iTunes moeny but they cheat you out of the student discount by not giving the option.

Is it possible to purchase the premium version on the app and then change to student under your account settings on your computer afterward?
