Syncing Playlist Songs

Syncing Playlist Songs

My iMac is my main machine where all my local files are kept. Spotify used to sync across all my devices (Macbook Pro, iPad, iPhone) even the tracks that were local to my iMac if I put them in a playlist and made it available offline.

No more. And to make things more confusing, some tracks are syncing and others are not. And some tracks are syncing to some devices and not to others.

I've tried logging out of all of devices and logging back in. I've tried changing the sync quality (high, extreme, etc). I've tried toggling Available offline. I've also tried uninstall/reinstall on my phone.

I'm not willing to uninstall/reinstall on all my devices because I just don't have time for that. And quite frankly, if that's the solution it's a pretty lame solution. Is this just how Spotify works now?

Also just noticed that my iPhone and iPad list a different number of files under the "Local Files" playlists. More confusion.

There is currently a bug in the iOS app that is causing problems with some local files not to sync.

The developers are aware of this and are looking into a fix. I don't have an ETA on when a fix will be out, but hopefully soon.
