Unable to control Spotify from lock screen

As the title says I can’t control my Spotify from the lock screen. Pretty annoying when I’m driving as I can’t switch songs through the steering wheel controls. Also noticed it doesn’t even show up on the control centre, just shows the music app (IOS 11.0). Have read the other threads, nothing has worked. Tried deleting the app, logging out.

Apple have updated to iOS 11.0.1 and Spotify have updated to version 8.4.20 and it seems to have fixed the problem
