Unnecessary free space limitation

The Spotify iOS app only allows you to sync tracks for offline playback if you have something like 275 MB (or is it 250 or 300 MB?) of free space on the device. By contrast, the built-in Camera app allows you to take a photo as long as you have space for just that photo and nothing more.

My iPhone is constantly near-capacity, which means I can hardly ever sync new tracks, as finding 250-300 MB to delete in one go is far too time-consuming and so basically never happens.

This unnecessary and arbitrary restriction severely reduces the utility of the Spotify iOS app for me, and so I may as well cancel my Spotify Premuum subscription.
